Hunter Stanley is a championship team roper with a pedigree unlike his colleagues. Throughout most of his life, his competitive drive came from the sports he participated in for school. Hunter didn’t grow up around cowboying. It wasn’t until his freshman year of college, when he became drawn to the western lifestyle. “I don’t think there’s a lot of lifestyles that you can grow up completely away from it—disconnected from it—and grow into it as you get older.”
