flora knight
boot maker/musician
Flora Knight has a story that few people can compare to. Born in Ontario, Canada, her family decided to pack up and move to Dunedin, New Zealand, where she spent most of her life. She grew up in a musical family, taking on the fiddle at a young age. She fell in love with Appalachian fiddling, and her curiosity of the genre led to her spending time between her home and the US.
She credits Lou Clifton for introducing her to the art of cowboy boots. She reached out to legendary boot maker, Lisa Sorrell of Guthrie, Oklahoma, for an apprenticeship and the rest is history.
